    Hi,

Before going banging my head to the wall, is there a nice way to handle Property files (for example: app_xx.properties)?

If not, is there a way at least to integrate the execution of an exteral batch file each time the file is changed.

Basically what I do is I use the batch file to convert my properties file encoded in the system locale charset to to unicode encoding using the magical tool of native2ascii.exe by Sun.

    Thanks,

    Erez

I created a simple helloworld.bat example that I’m able to run as an external tool from MyEclipse. From the toolbar select the icon that looks like a “running man with a briefcase”. This will open the External Tools dialog. Select “Program” followed by the “New” button. Follow the dialog from here.

I’m not sure how reliable this will work for you so experiment.
