Good day

i am busy producing an app and the main function i want is that i have a database full of information and i want my tabs to pull that info and display it to the user from the database i have, but i only want to display specific information and its only text so anyone who can please assist me

Is the database on the device or hosted somewhere else?
If its hosted somewhere else you will need php or AJAX or another service to go through.

If your database is on a web server and accessed through a web service, then this post (viewtopic.php?f=19&t=6667) may be helpful to you.
