Hi,
My pulse launcher gives an error when trying to get software updates:

!MESSAGE Invalid splash path entry: platform\:/base/plugins/org.eclipse.platform.
Is there a way to disable the launcher so that i can do the updates manually through MyEclipse

I wonder if you are using Pulse 1 and not Pulse 2.If you launch the Pulse Explorer, do you see a “Tips and Tricks” tree node near the bottom?
Another way to check is look in your USER.HOME directory (C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME> or C:\Users\<USERNAME> on VIsta) and see if you have a .pulse directory… if you do, you are using Pulse 1.
