    Hello everyone,

I’m have created a web project on MyEclipse 8.5 with struts2 capabilities, but when I open the struts.xml file with My Eclipse Struts 2 Config Editor I cannot see the flow tab, just design and source tabs. The design tab just show the following:

    ?=? xml –> version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″
    Doctype –> struts PUBLIC “-//Apache Software Foundation//DTD Struts Configuration 2.1//EN ” “http://struts.apache.org/dtds/struts-2.1.dtd”
    struts –> Blank

How can I activate the flow tab?. Thanks a lot

    Regards,

    Fer

    Fer,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

I strongly recommend switching to the latest version of MyEclipse i.e MyEclipse 2013 (formerly known as MyEclipse 11), to take advantage of over 4-5 years of development time and enhancements we made since 8.5 release. If you are having a license for MyEclipse 8.5, then the same license can be used for MyEclipse 2013, as our licenses are time based , not version based. For more information on MyEclipse 2013 and the download links, please take a look at this link – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/myeclipse-2013-is-now-available/

If you are facing any issues to install our latest version – MyEclipse 2013, can you please tell us the reasons for not installing the latest version ?

If you still want to work with MyEclipse 8.5, I recommend you to update your MyEclipse 8.5 to MyEclipse 8.6.1 from Help > MyEclipse Configuration center > Software > Software updates available and check whether you can replicate it in MyEclipse 8.6.1 ?

If you are still facing issues in MyEclipse 8.6.1, please answer some more questions to help us investigate further :
    1) Can you please share your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation summary > Installation details ?
    2) Can you please make sure that struts config file is opened with MyEclipse struts 2 config editor ? Right click on config file > Open With > MyEclipse struts 2 config editor.
    3) Clear the contents of .log file which is located at <Workspace Dir>/.metadata>.log file, replicate the issue and attach the log file here.

Let us know how it works for you.
