I downloaded 3.8 (EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030800Beta1.exe) and installed it onto my eclipse 3.0. Everything seems fine. But when I check the Preferences-MyEclipse, I noticed its Version is 2.5.0, Build Id is 200307151200. I was confused. Did I installed the correct version?

That was just a labelling mistake on our part, you have the right version. Sorry for the confusion.
