    Hi,

I’m building templates and a generator to automatically create ME Java Enterprise projects for various applications that we translate from an internal proprietary language into Java. My question is how are the <enterprise-project> and <project-module> “id” attributes generated?

What requirements are there should I want to create my own project that is readable and usable by ME where the projects themselves are generated by an external application?

All of the other tags and attributes seem very self-explanatory. It’s the requirements of the ID that I’m concerned about.

    Thanks.

    /PaulK

I guess I should have mentioned that we generate Enterprise Application, EJB modules, and Web Modules (for our servlet).

    Paul,
I *believe* they are random. But I have forwarded this off to some folks that might know for sure to double check.
