MattMemberI just have a few questions before I move forward with the purchase of MobieOne. If this is in the wrong category, I apologize. Please move it where appropriate.
1) Scrolling: Using the scrollpanel template, I created a squared list with 67 boxes. When I build the app and test it on my iPhone 4 iOS version 5.1 the scroll seems to be slow and lag quite a bit. It will scroll to the bottom, but not smoothly. The problem is even slower when tested on my iPod touch. Is this to be expected, or is there a way to make it faster? My understanding from one of support-wayne’s posts was that it is possible to have kinetic scrolling, but the process was involved. If that is the case, I would be willing to pay for someone to develop the code that would allow the kinetic scrolling as I feel it provides a more professional appearance to the app as well as apps in general.
The .mobi file is attached for reference and testing.
2) The app that I am creating will have quite a lot of data, and my concern is that it will be larger than the 20MB limit set for uploading to the app center. Because this is the limit for the app center, does that also mean MobieOne cannot create apps larger than 20MB or is there a way around this? If this is the limit, then the project I am working on will have to be cancelled or postponed until the limit is increased.
The MobiOne software is great so far, very impressed!
Thanks,

support-michaelKeymasterHi Matt,
> slow panel scrolling for large number of objects
Thanks for sharing the design file. I spun up the design in the Test Center and scrolling was responsive. Maybe my desktop machine has better processing power than your’s. Also I uploaded and tested on an iphone4s and scrolling was responsive. What version is your itouch and iOS? Also what are the specs on your windows machine?

We are planning to expand the max size soon? What is your timeframe?March 23, 2012 at 1:37 pm #324576
MattMemberWayne,
Thanks for taking the time to research the problem I am having. I have been doing more research on it myself and here is what I have found out. Maybe it will help narrow down the problem.
I took the file I sent you by itself (without the pages linked to it) and created an app which I tested on my iphone 4 with iOS 5.1. The scrolling was responsive as I would expect. However, when the same file is loaded with all of the pages that are linked to it, is when the scrolling is slow and not as responsive.
It looks like to me that the scrolling is affected by the pages that are linked to it. What are your suggestions from here?
My timeframe is by mid June, tho maybe later into late July/August.
Thanks again for your prompt support.

I’m discussing with the dev team to see if I’m missing something.
