I’m trying to configure a second instance of a Tomcat 5.5 server. I entered a unique name for the server and selected the “Apply”. There was a message at the top of the dialog that indicated that the new configuration had been added. So, I went to Window->Preferences->MyEclipse->Application Servers but, did not find the new configuration. I attempted to add a configuration using the same name but, received an error indicating that a configuration already exists with that name.

This is the first time I’ve tried this so, please excuse the novice nature of the question. I have no idea where to look to find the new configuration at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench
    Version: 5.1.0 GA
    Build id: 20061111-5.1.0-GA

OK, figured out how to launch the instance. I was expecting to see it appear on the application Servers list not inside the “Run”.

However, is there a way to get an application to deploy to that alternate configuration?

    Fran,
Yes you can create a new deployment of type “Custom Location” and point it to any location you want.

Ah, thank you I’ll give that a try.
