I’m using MyEclipse for Java develpment, but I recently have the need to do some PHP stuff. Can you please recommend a PHP editor that integrates well with MyEclipse (on mac OS X) . I have looked at PHPEclipse, but it dosen’t seem to work all that well; or maybe its just me. If you know of others- please let me know.
You can add PDT, it’s a php eclipse plugin from the eclipse.org site. It should do the trick for you.
I tried installing PDT from the Eclipse Update Manager, using this site: http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/
But i’m getting this error:
PDT Feature (Incubation) (1.0.0.v20070816-79–E7QYGHEHNQ6) requires feature “org.eclipse.wst (2.0.0)”, or compatible.Since you are hainvg problems using the Eclipse update manager, you will have to use an alternate method to setup PDT. here are some solutions that you can try:-
