    Hi,

My sources were (long ago) ported from the JBuilder (once upon a time…:) and sources are laid out in a one tree. So today I have 2 web modules and one EJB module all having their src directory linked to the correct source directory (using linked resource).

I was wondering what is the recommended way to lay out the code – in terms of tree structure. Is there any help or documentation about it?

    (I am using MyEclipse 3.8.3./ Eclise 3.0.1, WinXP )

    Thanks,

    Erez

    Erez,

The recommended way is simply to create an enterprise project that references 2 web projects and 1 EJB project, in your example. The wizards will lay out the webroot and source directories in the recommended locations. Additionally, lots of information on the layouts and how EAR’s get packaged and reference other projects can be found in the Web Project and Enterprise Project Quickstarts available in the Documentation section here:
