I think there is no way that this product is remotely as bad as you think. For the price, you can not even come close to getting a web app or a native app up and running. There are some “bling” things mobione does not do, but you can always do the normal kind of stuff and have it not be hard in the end. I am just a beginner but I can already do some good real world stuff and I know you can as well.
Personally i think part of the problem is mobione is too cheap. Recently i have been looking at cloud based solutions and even the standard option subscriptions are more in 1 year than a mobione licence.
Controversial it may be, but if the cost went up more money could be thrown into development and support of the product. Or possibly a professional version of Mobione at a higher cost, Things like database support, push notifications, skin-able UI widgets and a MAC VERSION!!!!! 🙂
I like mobione as you can build some pretty neat apps. Its not perfect by a long shot but allows a designer/developer to get apps into the app store rather than having to code everything like most other platforms.
