hi ,

i have plugin in weblogic8.1 with eclipse3.2, but i am facing problem with start up
following are the details of my my configuration

BEA home directory : C:\bea
Weblogic installation directory : C:\bea\weblogic81
Admin user name : system
Admin password : password
Execution domain root : C:\bea\user_projects\domain
Execution domain name : mydomain
Execution server name : myserver
Hostname:Portnumber : localhost:7001
Security policy file : C:\bea\weblogic81\server\lib\weblogic.policy
JASS login configuration file : —-blank—

my server is not getting started :
it shows following error

Error starting Weblogic
“A configuration error occured during startup. Please verify the preference field with prompt
:Specified working directory does not exist or is not a directory : C:\bea\user_projects\domain\mydomain ”

I have checked in my local system, this directory is exist
please reply asap

The domain directory may exists, but did you create a weblogic domain in it? You first have to run BEA’s domain creation tool to create the domain before you can launch it in MyEclipse. The best way to proceed would be to create the domain using BEA’s tools then test starting the server from the commandline. Once that works, you’ll be able to configure that domain for use within MyEclipse.
