The current flow diagramming is for Struts only… if your application is a Struts application, just add Struts capabilities to it, and open your struts-config.xml file, (you might need to hit Refresh) but your application flow will be shown to you already. There is no support for generic web application flow modelling yet though.

We have a large struts app with perhaps 50 screens. When I view the struts flow the diagram is small and unreadable. Several features would make this more usable for us:

    1. If I could save it as a jpg I could print it out on a plotter.
    2. If I could zoom in I could look at sections at a time.

Is there a way to do any of these? Does anybody know another way to achieve usability?

    1) Sure you can export it to an img file.
    2) Look in your tool bar, you should see a zoom drop down, if youd on’t, right click up there and hit customize, and be sure to check all the MyEclipse features and hit OK. Then you should see it.

    Thank you for your help.

I’m running eclipse 3.0 and my eclipse 3.8.4 on Fedore Core 2 linux. When I try to export to a JPEG from the struts diagram or the DB Explorer, It says:

    Error exporting image

Any suggestions? I’ll search on that message in the meantime.

    Steve,
Can you try a new install of Eclipse 3.1 GA and MyEclipse 4.0Milestone 2 for Eclipse 3.1 and see if the bug was fixed? I know we did quite a bit of work on exporting, I don’t remember exactly which build it made it into though.

    Hi Riyad –

I just installed eclipse 3.1 and ME 4.0M2 and I get the same error.

Under Help > About > Configuration details, what JDK (about the 10th or 15th line down) is shown to be running Eclipse? You aren’t using GCJ are you?
