How can I run an iOS native app that is available in the apple store in an emulator on my Windows machine to present to a room full of people?

I dont think you can, however, if you have the right connectors you can run it on a iPhone or iPad and hook that into a monitor or even a projector…

The MobiOne iOS emulator is limited to running general HTML5 mobile and optimized mobile safari webapps and hybrid phonegap iOS apps running in webapp format, i.e., the phonegap web bundle. I am not aware of any true iOS emulator, i.e., not even Apples iOS simulator is a true iOS hardware vm.

But having said this, here is how we do demos directly from a device:

    1) the simplest approach is to use a vga adapter available from the appstore ($30)

    2) if you want to integrate your device display along with a presentation hosted on a windows machine take a look at Air Server that works great using air play protocol from iphone5+ or ipad2+ http://www.airserverapp.com/ This is the approach I use when doing webinars and making screencasts.
