    Hi,

I am completely new to MobiOne and only downloaded the app 2 days ago and bought it today.

I am building a basic app for displaying product information and it started pretty well.

I was able to use the run in test centre functionality successfully to test how the app will look and feel.

But isn’t working today since I added a few more screens to it.

Any help on how to resolve this issue?

I have tried to create a test app and run in test centre and it works fine but it doesn’t work on my existing one which I have spent 2 days developing.

    Regards,

    Hi Daniel,

What mobione version are you running? You can check at Help Menu > About Mobione Design Center.

    >But isn’t working today since I added a few more screens to it.
Can you share more details please? Did you modify something in the generated folder <project>-www ??

Also, you mentioned something about adding two screens, can you describe how did you do that?

    Hi Octavio,

    Please see my answers below:

    Answer: Version 2.3.2 (hot-fix 1, 20130425)

    >But isn’t working today since I added a few more screens to it.

Answer: No I didn’t. What I did was a built a screen and then saved the same screen with different name to maintain the same design – look and feel.

Also, you mentioned something about adding two screens, can you describe how did you do that?

Answer: What I did was that I built a screen and then saved the same screen with different name to maintain the same design – look and feel.

I have tried and tried but its simply can’t run in test centre.

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for sharing those details. It’s odd that this only happen with one design and you haven’t modified the -www content. Please, respond next questions too:

    1) Do you see a dialog with exception that says that there was an exception in codegen?
    2) Does TC run and then crashes (hides?) or is “Run in TC” just behaves like nooperation?
    3) Since the problem only appears with one design/project could you send it to us to replicate the problem? if you want to keep the data in privacy send us the zip file to support at genuitec dot com. Use title mobione data from Daniel

Try deleting the www folder. If you have modified the custom.js file save it somewhere before deleting.

Run the test centre again once you have no www folder and see if it runs. If it does open the new www folder and overwrite the custom js file if you need to.

    Hi,
I have recreated the whole project again and the issue is gone.

I think I cause the issue by mistakenly saving the .mobi files in different version of the same project location.

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,
    Danny
