Usually, when I Save a .java file, MyEclipse correctly and automatically updates the correct directory on the Tomcat server.

However, I’ve noticed many times where MyEclipse does NOT update the remote Tomcat folder with a new class file and I don’t know why.

I’ve tried making sure Tomcat was started or not started. I’ve tried re-deploying the Webapp (that works correctly).

It’s a mystery how to get MyEclipse to reliably update the remote Tomcat folder.

Has anyone noticed this behavior and is there a solution?

    Thanks in advance.

Can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.

    Sorry, this was my fault.

The problem was I had auto-build turned off.

    Sorry.
