OK, I just restarted on an older project and have it near completion.
However, I have an image widget with another image widget overlayed, now I need a way to save them together into the camera roll. Has anyone found a way to do this yet? before I start searching for a way….

I presume a simple screen capture will not do what you require?
Hold the ‘Off’ button and click the ‘Home’ button on an iPad or iPhone.
No it needs to be in code and that doesnt work on androids, some are really hard to do screen grabs.
Ill take no response as no one has got this working yet…too bad, everything I tried has failed so far. Might have to change tools for these projects…(flash builder again?)

Correct. I took a quick scan of the cordova api since I had not seen a screen capture configuration previously. No success.
Thanks for verifying this. Now the question is do you think it might be implemented in the future.
I have tried the html2canvas and some other libraries with no luck. I really don’t wan to change development tools for the projects, but this is a feature that has to be in it. I could go the route of the screen capture, but Im not sure if Apple would have a problem with it.A few more details if you have anything to try for me: The app uses face detection and does an overlay based on the position, it is the combined images I need to save.

Not in the near term. You may wish to consult/collaborate with Kyle at http://www.appstoreuploader.com/ who does custom cordova plugin integration and builds.
