As far as I’m aware, the iPhone and Palm Pre scale any page to fit within its viewport, however the MobiOne application isn’t doing this.
Is there a way to mimic this bahavior?
There is a zoom feature, if you open the control panel or on the address bar there is a zoom slider that you can change the zoom on the browser.
In future version (1.0 timeframe) the browser in the Mobione iPhone emulator will support the viewport/scale automatically.
Quick update:
This feature didn’t make the 1.0milestone-5 release due to a late P1 bug that caused us to rollback to the 1.0m4 rendering model. We really want to get this feature in a build soon. I’ll follow up as soon as we resolve the core blocker bug and can reintroduce the viewport and scaling feature.
