nshoaibMemberDear Genuitec Support,
I am making an iOS and Android App for my school. I am making five main pages, which include the Home Page, Staff/Student Page, Library Page, Enroll Form Page, and a Quick Links Page(Which includes the Grading Website Link and Online School Courses Link). I am wondering if there is a way to add a Google Maps Navigation Guide(I am in Saudi Arabia, so the Web Apps that was already in the test center or the forums don’t work for me) to get directions to get to the school. I was also wondering if there is a way to make a search bar(for the Library Page), so people can search for the books instead of looking for it themselves. If this is there in my App, then it would be really good. I am also looking for a guide for the procedure of adding the App to the App Store or Android Market. I am in the 7th Grade and I am 13 years old. I have some of experience of HTML, but no experience of Java._______________________

The Visual Designer is slated to get an update with many new widgets including a map widget. Until that widget is available it is a coding exercise to add map to a UI.
Re: searching for book, where is the library of books stored and is there a service you can call that will perform the search for your app or do you have to build the book list and implement the search?

nshoaibMemberDear Wayne,
Thank you for your quick response. I am going to make the library myself and I am finding a way to let users search that library using a search bar. I am going to use the MobiOne Software to create pages for all the books. It’s OK if there is a code for the search bar and the Map. Can you please teach me how to do it.____________________

nshoaibMemberDear Wayne,
I have been waiting for a few days for your response. About my School’s App, I have found a way to get the map. I have made a GMAIL account and made a map of my school using the online Google maps service. Once I have saved it, I clicked on the link button and it shows 2 codes, the URL and the html embed code. I then made a button on the toolbar and made it go to that URL. When I test it on the test center or my iPhone, it works, but I cannot go back to the app. Is there a way to show the navigation bar or toolbar while the URL is on the screen or is there a way that i can use the embed code to show on a page with the toolbar showing. I tried doing that by running it on the test center and adding the embed code to the html source file. It worked, but when I tried it again, the app crashed.
For the Library, I wanted to make a catalog where my users can pick any book they want and send a request to the librarian for reserving it for themselves. I was trying to find a mobile library catalog builder on the net, because making a page for each and every book would be a lot time consuming, but was unsuccessful. If there is a service which lets users make a library catalog, then I would be very grateful.
