I have noticed that at times the search menu options are completely greyed out. I can stil use it with ctrl-H but not via the menu. This may be an eclipse issue not a MyEclipse issue but I haven’t found an answer yet.

What version of MyEclipse have you noticed this with? Let me know if you come across any information that could help us reproduce this issue at our end. I’ll ask the dev team to keep a look out for this issue.

I am experiencing this same issue. I don’t have much new information to add except that it usually works when I restart Eclipse. I’m running version 7.1.1.

I just discovered the same problem.
The whole search menu and the sub-menus are disabled.

I have a screenshot. How can I send it to you? I am unable to FTP out from here.

I am using MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench

Could it be that MyEclipse substitutes its own Search menu in place of the one provided by Eclipse?
Because after restarting MyEclipse, it works, but the menu is organized differently than when it was disabled.
