    Hello Support,
I have used ME 8.6 to develop Web service and its client. I have successfully tested it and it works fine. The Web service is deployed in Tomcat 6. The client is a stand alone JAVA application which invokes the service using Metro libraries.
Now, I would like to move a step ahead and enhance the Web service as well as its client. The enhancement is to bring in secure communication between the two. Could you please let me know whether ME 8.6 helps in developing a secure Web service? If yes, could you please point me to a tutorial on the same?

    suryavesitb,

Yes you can develop secure webservices using MyEclipse. I am afraid, we do not have the relevant tutorial on secure webservices, you could refer MyEclipse tutorials and whitepapers here – http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-7.html . I would recommend you research about tutorial on secure webservices on other websites / search engines. You could refer – http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-03-2003/jw-0321-wssecurity.html
