wayne, i have just read that back in October you were looking at an alternative low cost method for transferring an app to the app store, you may remember that i go stuck at the upload binary part and to date have not went any further, you said in this thread that a solution was expected, do you have any further updates on this
Turns out the automation of appstore uploads is more complex and time consuming that we originally anticipated. As a stand in we are negotiating with a 3rd party service to provide manual appstore uploads at heavily discounted rate for mobione customers. The expected cost is $5 per upload. The service was expected to be available this week but there have been some difficulties getting the agreement finalized. We expect it to be online by the 1.4.2 release date.
In the meantime if you are against a wall and need an upload I can do some uploads as a courtesy. But my time is very limited and I can only peform may 2-3 per day.

Wayne,May be you can bypass the MAC for needing to upload to itunes with a MAC OS X vmware image. Not really supported by VMware but possible to run OS X on it.

Has there been any progress on this? I’m going though the process of trying to get a friend to upload for me, but we haven’t had any luck yet.

Update: our best laid plan got waylaid. We have an inexpensive alternative coming online by the end of this week.
