With the All-In-One installer for MyEclipse6 it also installed a standalone xml editor which could be used for quick xml editing.

Is there still a separate XML editor that can be used for MyEclipse 7? I can’t seem to find any information about it (or for the ME6 xml editor, except http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-310.html#xmleditor which is for ME5.5).

It was a useful tool for general xml editing that didn’t require the full IDE, it’d be a shame if it was no longer available.

    jpcamara,
I believe you are referring to the SNAP editor. They are not available any more. We discontinued those editors but we are monitoring the forums for a feed back from the users. We might consider adding them in a future release.

For now, you will have to keep ME 6 installed along with 7.x to use those editors. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay, thanks for the response. I’d like to see them added back in for future releases. It was convenient to have stripped down options, that were still based in the same toolset MyEclipse/Eclipse users are familiar (and proficient) with.

    Thanks!
