I develop for three major application servers. I would like to create a prespective much like WSAD where you can start and stop individual servers and deploy to each one. Right now I am not sure how MyEclipse does this. I know there are many servers within the workbench. Is there a way I can create a specific prespective and add individual servers to it or am I dreaming?

Thanks for reading my post. You guys keep on the great work…we really need the tool you are developing………

To clarify, we support many application servers by way of our connectors, we don’t actually ship the app servers. You need to locally install the app servers then setup the connectors to point at them. If this is what you meant that’s fine, I just wanted to clarify to avoid confusion.

All deployment is done by either right clicking on your project and going to MyEclipse > Add/Remove Project Deployments, or by the toolbar menu item that looks like a folder and a server with two arrows going into each (usually about the 4th or 5th icon over from the left in your tool bar).

All work is typically done from your MyEclipse perspective and you can create any combination of views you like but we don’t map perspectives to servers if that is specifically what you were asking.
