I tried searching for this and only found a topic from 2004.
I use a dark color scheme in my editor and I cannot figure out how to change the background color for struts config xml files, no matter what I do the background color is white. This would be liveable, however the preferences for my current line is dark which makes editing the current line impossiable.

1) Please copy paste your installation details here from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
2) Go to Window > Preferences > General > Editors > Text Editors. Select the background color listed in the ‘ Appearance Color Options’ to change it. This will change the background color for all the text editors.Let us know how it works for you.
