We have started a project that will be sharing a Pulse configuration across several machines. One of these machines (mine) is running Mac OS X.

The configuration was created on one of the PCs and the invite sent out from that PC. When I click the invite, the web installer starts, then at about 80% it presents me with the MyEclipse installer app. Even though I already have MyEclipse installed, I run it and it re-installs MyEclipse, but the configuration isn’t there.

I tried entering the invite code into the Collaboration pane of MyEclipse and it just takes me to the website where the whole process starts over again (download MyEclipse, install, no configuration). The progress bar never moves past 80%.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    randyyarger ,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I have escalated it to a dev team member. They will get back to you.

    Randy,

The flow you have described is correct and expected. Could you elaborate on what you mean by “the configuration isn’t there”?

I would also like to clarify one point as far as shared configurations are concerned. By default, you share only the base configuration of MyEclipse. Add-on bits like Struts, JSF, Maven or even personal software sites that you add will not be shared unless you explicitly share them. You need to go to the Collaboration tab and under Manage Settings, choose Software – you will now see a list of software in the section below. You can bring up the context menu on each of the Software items and choose whether to share (or unshare) them.

Do let me know if you need further clarification or have any feedback for us.
