    I saw today that the url inside the email notifications -after a build- are not shorten, even if the option in settings is checked.

    Is the shorten url service down for some reason?

    Thank you.

    @timiman

    Do you consistently experience long URLs?
    All of my tests this morning have included proper shortened URL.

    We occasionally experience an issue where the URL shortener service is fails when building the URLs in the email notification message. In such cases the logic is to fallback to the long url and keep going.

    Yes, also today it happened both times I did build.
    I’ve used the goo.gl service manually.
    This made me to realise that the goo.gl service asked me for a captcha input.
    Maybe, this is to blame?

    Not the problem. MobiOne App Center runs on the Google App Engine and has direct access to apis such as URL shortener. I’ve asked our dev team to investigate.
    Q: what region are you accessing mobione from?

    Just a small update.
    Today, only 1 of the 4 builds requested has sent a non-shorten url via email.

    Hi timiman,

    The dev team is investigating. We will follow up as soon as we know more. Thank you for the report and your patience.

    Are you using MobiOne 2.5?

    I was discussing the url shortening issue with dev team. I learned that with recent App Center changes that url shortening is now only available for MobiOne 2.5 with the App Center setting configured to use Cordova 2.9 (defaults).
