I have MyEclipse 5.1, SJSAS 8.2, and Apache Derby. I can access and ping the derby database using SJSAS Admin Console. When I start SJSAS from my Eclipse, the derby drivers are not found and a db connection cannot be stablished. The derby drivers are in their expected location within the SJSAS file folders, that is ‘SJSAS Installation Directory’\lib .
Why aren’t the drivers found when starting SJSAS from MyEclipse?

    John,
You emailed this same question to support@ on April 17th and I replied to you there. It’s pasted below for reference:

    John,
The connector (Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > App Servers > Sun App
Server) will automatically pick up the default set of libraries and
add them to the classpath when it’s launched. If you need to
supplement that list of libraries with additional ones, like Derby,
you can go to the “Paths” sub-node under the connector preferences,
and specify additional JARs get added to your classpath there.

That should resolve any ClassNotFoundExceptions you may be getting.
