Hi,
I’m searching for a Source Safe plugin for MyEclipse 8.5.
The team which I’m working with using Source Safe and I have to be able to use it also.
What plag in do I need in order to be able to check in/out file from/to the remote SourceSafe?

Please refer http://vssplugin.sourceforge.net/ Please note that the documentation is given for Eclipse 3.3 this will work for MyEclipse 6.6. You need to downloaded and copy VSS plugin to [your MyEclipse installation dir] / dropins / plugins directory and restart your ME 6.6 IDE. For ME 8.5, please look for a relevant Eclipse 3.5.2 compatible VSS plugin.
Can you recommemd on one of the available plugins. We have no experience with those type of plugins.

If you have not yet decided on what configuration management tool to be used., you can also use CVS. It is available as part of base Eclipse. To configure, open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Open Perspective > Other > CVS Repository Exploring. Next right click on the CVS perspective and click on – New > Repository Location. This will open a wizard, fill in the configuration wizard and you should be all set.

We have decided which tool we’re going to use and Unfortunately it will be Source Safe.
I have never used such a plugin for eclipse, I’m usually using SubVersion and using the SubEclipse plugin.
Now I have a problem to choose one of the plugins that available for SourceSafe and I’ll be happy to hear your opnion.

I am afraid, I am not aware of the plugin / update site for VSS which is compatible to Eclipse 3.5.2 which you can use with MyEclipse 8.5. Please contact VSS support or cross – post to their forums.
