    in v2.2, the tool generates 7 or 8 splash files for different devices.

    why are some of the jpeg and some png files.

    also there’s a .codegen.cache.json file – does that need to be uploaded.

    Hi everest,

    When codegen generates them it tries to keep them from being huge. If image is resized from small size to big one, JPG makes much smaller files. It is for optimization.

    It contains codegen internal data and no need to share it with anyone, so, doesn’t need to be uploaded.

    same for .app.json – no need to upload that?

    Everest.

    The File data which is unchecked from start in the build wizard is not required to upload for a working and submitable App.. Atleast i havent encountered any situation where it was needed!
