    Hi!

I’ve a little prbl. I’m creating an App, but when I test it, I do not see the splash screen. I’ve tested it on my own server too. Same problem.

Can we choose the time of display for the splash screen?

The very first tests with the free version of Mobione used to display the splash screen perfectly… Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for your response.

The splashscreen associated with http://www.dacreations.com/iphone/index.html works fine in the Test Center when launched from the home screen. Remember to open the link in the Test Center browser and then save it to the home screen. Then launch the webapp from the home screen.

You’re right, in the test-center, from the icon of the homescreen, it works. But on my real iPhone, both from your server or mine, I don’t see the splash screen at all, even if I run my App from the icon on my iPhone’s homescreen… Seems to be too fast to be seen… perhaps…

Investigating the splashscreen issue your are seeing now. I can reproduce a case where splash image does not appear on iphone4. Discussing with dev team now. We will provide a fix in the 1.2.1 release planned for friday.

    Fixed in 1.2.1 release (today).

There is a quirk with iPad startup images. We determined that when you save the webapp to the homescreen the device must be in portrait orientation. We expect Apple to fix this in iOS5 (fingers crossed).
