I couldn’t find a way to do split-screen while editing Java source code. Is this possible, and if not is it a planned future enhancement? Seems like a basic feature found in most IDEs.

Do you mean editing 2 portions of the same file at the same time?

Yes, where the code is visible typically with two or more resizable sections in one editor pane.

Update: When I first read your post, for some reason I had it in my head that you were asking about all the editors. If you just mean the Java editor, right click on the tab and go down to “New Editor” to popup another editor for the same file.
