We have lots of spring reference tutorials avaliable through the MyEclipse Help system. However, if you are specifically interested in our Spring integration in MyEclipse and all of the enhancements we have made in the last release, then we are still working on that quickstart and hopefully will have it out the same time as 4.1GA.

Our tutorials will cover getting upto speed with MyEclipse support for Spring as quickly as possible. However, they will not cover Spring fundamentals – so if you want to learn Spring, I would suggest a book or an IDE independent tutorial. Once you know the basics, MyEclipse (and our Quickstart docs) will help you get productive and leverage the most out of Spring asap.

    Best,
    Brian.

I just upgraded to 4.1 from 4.0.3 and it looks like the Spring reference was taken out. Why? I found it to be a very informative tool to learn Spring. Will it be coming back or should I just go back to 4.0.3?

    Rene,

We just moved the documentation around. The spring documentation is now housed in MyEclipse Learning Center > Spring Development > References > Spring Framework Guide.
Hope that was what you were looking for.

    Best,
    Brian.

The Spring Framework guide in eclipse learning center only works when you are connected to internet.
Can i have the reference guide as eclipse help files, so that i can access it from eclipse help locally. Any downloads available?.
    thanks
