I am now using CodeMix and was really enjoying it until it received an update this week. Now all my JavaScript files are riddled with errors. I don’t know why all of a sudden all these errors say: cannot find name “X”

    See attached screen shot.
    Any Suggestions?

    Steve,

I’m glad you were’ enjoying CodeMix until the update but sorry that the update has introduced this problem for you. I see the same here, with a simple JS file, and have raised the issue with development. We’ll let you know when we have more information on how to deal with this.

    Steve,

A quick answer for you. The update has turned on strict validation which you can turn off.

This article provides a solution for you and contains other useful information.

Basically, in the Preferences, got to the CodeMix>Settings>Workspace Settings page and look for javascript.implicitProjectConfig.checkJs. Set it to false and apply the change. You should now not see the validation markers.

Please let us know if this works for you.
