When I create the SQL Editor windows where does the editor pane get saved to? What is the file naming convention? I can not find the files any where?

Also, a nice feature request would be to save the SQL as my own file name and when I import SQL, it should save out to the file I opened. Also, it would be nice to save the results out to a file as well. Currently, I have to copy to clipboard then dump that to a file.

I have asked our DB Explorer DEV to look at this for you.

    You try File-Save as
If you save file with .sql (and have another files with .sql) you can open it in sql editor

I realized that the problem I had had to do with opening a file that is not in an Eclipse project. The interesting thing though is the editor has the apperance that it has a file that you can save, but it is no where to be found.

Eclipse naturally wants to manage files inside eclipse; you have to import the .sql file into a project. The Save As option is available. However, I note that it does not work very well. In fact I have never liked the way SE manages editors. I will add a defect in bugzilla on this.
