In the java editor it seems that the cursor has been changed to a square bracket. Does anyone know how to change this?

I’ve seen this question asked on the Eclipse newsgroups, and it was something simple (like Insert Mode) but the solution slips my mind right now. Please check the Eclipse newsgroup or mailing list for a better answer.

yup that was it if you hit the insert key it will fix the problem.
