I would like to vote – very strongly – for standard eclipse distribution compatiblitly.
At the moment, I am locked out by MyEclipse from the original BIRT, from the original WTP (multiple server installations) and from the original DTP (preventing tools needing DTP connections from working). You don’t need to integrate these all, just behave like some plugin and not like the master of eclipse itself. Why do you disable DTP? Why isn’t it possible to install BIRT (from a user point of view not acceptable, even if you struggle with packages and so on). This behaviour was ok until the other projects got production ready, but now it is obsolete. Please work on this.
