I now have both jboss 3.2.3 and Tomcat 5.0.19 installed.

Each will start and test from the respective bat directories.

When I try to start using myeclipse I receive the following eror:

A configuration error occurred durring startup. Please verify the preference field with the prompt : Server JDK Name.

This is a bit of a cryptic message and we appologize, but please navigate back to the application server settings (Both of them) and expand their preference nodes. They should both have a child node called “JDK”, select this node then use the “Add” button to configure a JDK (app servers cannot use a JRE) for the respective app servers to launch with.
