3 things came to my attention:

    1. Sometimes the JSP editor responses a “Error excecuting command – The command for the key you pressed failed. Reason: The command for the key you pressed failed.” when I simply press the del-Button somewhere in my JSP-Code

    2. I modify a NOT-readonly JSP-file (which I successfully modified before and it behaved regularly) but the editor neither does show the asterisk nor does it let me save the file. The state remains “no changes”. In this case I use “Save As” … but still annoying

    3. Most annoying (but I don’t know whether this is a MyEclpse or a workbench problem): when undoing changes (Ctrl-Z) the view does not follow the cursor to the undone position

    I use Eclipse 3.0.0 Build 200406251208
    and MyEclipse 3.8.4 Build 200501171200-3.8.4

Hi! This is a duplicate of the bug I reported at:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-5818.html

    just so you know =)

    Didn’t know about the ctrl+z thingy however…

A have the same strange behavior in MyEclipse editors (HTML, JSP, CSS, XML tested) with the Undo (Ctrl-Z). None of these editors’ view follows the cursor and scrolls to the undone position. The default Eclipse editors are fine, so it’s probably a MyEclipse issue.
I use MyEclipse 3.8.4 (updated yesterday using Eclipse’s update mechanism), Eclipse 3.0.1 on Windows XP Pro SP2, Sun J2SE 1.4.2_06-b03.
    This should be solved ASAP

This does seem to be a bug in the editor, I will file this so we can look into it ASAP. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
