    I have Eclipse 3.1 with version 3.8.4. I get An error has occurred when creating this editor.

    If you are not using the 3.8.4 Beta for Eclipse 3.1M4 OR you are not using Eclipse 3.1M4, then this is the problem. You cannot use MyEclipse 3.8.4 for Eclipse 3.0 on the 3.1 platform, and you also cannot use 3.1M5a yet, we don’t support it. (we will in our next release).
