    Hi All,
    I am a newbie to struts. I just installed eclipse and myeclipse on my Win 2k professional machine. I am stuck at step 1. 🙁 In my machine Eclipse is in D: root. And My Eclipse has been installed in D:\Program Files.

    The installation went smoothly. Then opening the application I entered the license information and then configured Tomcat 5.0’s directory. Then I Added a Tomcat JDK and pointed it to D:\j2sdk1.4.1_01, thats where I have installed my JDK (The only version of jdk I have in my system).

    Now, I went to projects window from the File menu and tried to add a new J2EE\Web Project. On clicking next, I am getting the following message. Please check and advice.

    com.genuitec.eclipse.j2eedit.core was unable to load class com.genuitec.eclipse.j2eedit.ui.wizard.NewWebProjectWizard

    My system’s environment variables:-
    CLASSPATH=D:\j2sdk1.4.1_01\bin
    JAVA_HOME=D:\j2sdk1.4.1_01

    Eclipse Information:-
    version 3.0
    Build id: 200312182000

    MyEclipse Information:-
    version 3.8.1

    If I have missed out any information, please let me know. Any insight wouuld be greatly helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Cheers, 😀

    Uday,
    It looks like you are running a severly old development version of Eclipse, please update to Eclipse 3.0.1 for the best experience with MyEclipse (your release is from 12/2003, 3.0.1 is from 9/2004, almost a year later)
