    Hi,

I’m finding with our renewed subscription for MyEclipse, the id and code are not being persisted between shutdowns of MyEclipse. This requires me to re-enter the id/code each time MyEclipse is restarted or put up with the nag screens each time I go to start my servers, search, or do anything else with the tool.

Anyone else experiencing the same situation or know of a solution? I did a search of the forum and no one seemed to be having the same issue I’m seeing.

    System: Vista 64 box, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.6Ghz, 4Gb ram,

Thanks, any assistance would be much appreciated!

    Quest,

Weird! I have never heard this problem being reported in our forums. Can you ensure while entering subscription information you are not introducing spaces/special characters?
To investigate more on this issue, can you answer few questions –
    1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? You can find it under MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details. This will help me understand your current configuration.
    2. How did you install MyEclipse? Using all-in-one installer/pulse/installed eclipse classic 3.4.1 and adding MyEclipse as a plugin?
    4. Can you take a look at .myeclipse properties file (This could be located under C:\Documents and Settings\[user-name]) Right click on this file and open with an editor. Notepad/Wordpad preferably. And check LICENSEE and LICENSE_KEY values are same as that of Subscription ID and code? If not, I would recommend you to add code to License_key and your ID to LICENSEE. Make sure, you are careful as not to introduce any spaces or special characters, as this file is super sensitive.

Let me know if this helps!
