Sun App Server 80001 – which connector?

    I made the same mistake as elewis in using the 8.1 connector with the latest non-beta Sun App Server – this produces an immediate error on launch.

    I’d assumed, as I guess he did, that connector called 8.1 applied to what Sun calls 8 Upgrade 1. However that fails as described whereas the connector called 8 works.

    Question – what is the 8.1 connector for??

    8.1 is for the Beta release of Sun App Server that will become version 8.1 (or some other number). Sun signifigantly changes their launch model betwene 8 and 8.1, so we had to make a new connector for it.
