How to switch between debug mode and java mode without restarting the server.
Also how can the restarting of server be avoided after changing a java file.
    My server is JBoss 4.3
    Thanks.

    Gouri,

I am not sure I understand your query. What do you mean by java mode? Also why would you need to switch between different modes? What are you trying to achieve?

    Hi Joy,
    I will explain the scenario.
I started the JBoss server. Is it possible for me to switch from this normal mode to debug mode without restarting in debug mode.
Another query is that , how the restarting of server can be avoided after changing a java file.
Currently It is taking a lot of time for restarting.

    Thanks
    Gouri

    Gouri,

No, you cannot switch between debug / run modes. In case you are running on debug mode and modify java file, you should be able to save and run and view the changes. In case of running on run mode, if you have modified a java file, you need to redeploy to see the changes.

    Hope this helps.
