if have 2 lists with multiple selections each.
both 2 lists have the same logical items.
after selecting items of the first list the matching item of the second list should automatically (=by program) get unselected.
when checking items of the second list the matching items of the FIRST list should get unselected.
(so one specfic item should only by allowed to be unchecked (=unselected) in both lists or selected only in just one of the 2 lists)

do you have a hint (are even better: a sample) how to do this ?

up to now i have found no working way to programmatically chose a specific item of one list (for example by its index) and then programmatically unselect it.

any help is VERY welcome !
