zkhan4176MemberHi,
I am using my eclipse 6.0.1 GA. I imported a plugin project from CVS. I am getting error on import of org.eclipse.swt.* packages althoug org.eclipse.ui is added in plugin dependencies. If I add org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_3.3.1.v3346i.jar library manually in build path then this error no longer exists but this doesn’t seem right. Is there any problem with myeclispe setup no my machine. Environment for Target platform is also set to wind32. I tried reinstalling myeclipse but that didn’t work either. A quick reply is much appreciated.Following is installation details

support-joyMemberzargham,
Thank you for the installation details. Can you copy and paste relevant errors from your error log here? Your log file is located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log
Also can you attach a screenshot which will help me get a visual? You can either [pm] or send a mail to support@genuitec.com, please include reference of this weblink and add ATTN:Joy in the subject. This will help in quick tracing.
I see that you are on a very old version of MyEclipse. I would recommend you to upgrade to ME 8.5 and give it a shot.June 11, 2010 at 7:10 am #309011
zkhan4176MemberHi,
I thought I set “notify me when reply is posted” but obviously not. Anyways next day when I restarted my pc that problem was resolved. Rather I was getting error that file is referenced twice so I removed manually added swt jar. and now happy with that 🙂
I downloaded ME 8.5 but it is
1. Very slow, I have 3 GB of RAM but still it is bit slow.
2. Pulse doesn’t work quiet right sometimes. I sit behind a proxy and it doesn’t recognize that all the time.If you can point to some tutorial that will be great
Thanks

support-joyMemberzargham,
Good to hear you are all set. You can set your proxy settings here – open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections. You mention that MyEclipse is slow. Can you monitor what operation slows your IDE?
Here is the link for tutorials – http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-7.html -
