Selecting Team->Synchronize synchronizes with CVS, then shows 2 copies of entire tree in Team Synchronizing Perspective

    Version: 7.0
    Build id: 7.0-20081201

    Hi,
Can you send me a screen shot where this issue can be seen. You can hit the PR button under my post and send me the screen shot. I’ll ask the dev team to look into this.

I also see this on both versions 7.5 and 8.0. The two trees are different, and one of the trees does not show all of the differences. Also, when only one tree shows, it does not show any differences that are not in java source files ( like jsp, xml etc ).

This is an old post so I am wondering did this bug ever get addressed ?

    aqbrown,
I will escalate this issue to the dev team member. They will get back to you on this.

    aqbrown,

This problem can be caused my multiple synchronization modesl – since 7.5 we have had a “Javascript” model which may be showing two groups of changes for your synchronization. To correct this, from the Synchronize view toolbar, choose the 3rd drop down and select the “workspace” model. I believe that should resolve the issue.

This has been removed in 8.6M1, and even if not, the tree which shows less changes can simply be ignored.

    Hope this helps.
