Pressing Ctrl+C on an empty prompt: fine, new prompt line.

Pressing Ctrl+C few times or holding for short period: fine, new prompt line.

Holding Ctrl+C for long, after some time:

cat: /C/xxx/frontend-web/.metadata/.plugins/com.genuitec.eclipse.webclipse.terminal/ProjectSettings/studio-web/bash_history: No such file or
    directory
    rm: cannot remove '/C/xxxx/workspaces/frontend-web/.metadata/.plugins/com.genuitec.eclipse.webclipse.terminal/ProjectSettings/studio-web/bash_history': N
    o such file or directory

At this point history is gone (of course it is not restored if launching new session).
