    Hi!

I have a JTextArea which should be populated with text by using the Matisse text editor. In Properties => “text” => the “…” button opens the text editor. The text area in the edtior seems to be locked. It’s not possible to write text in it. There is also no cursor blinking in there. Maybe someone has experienced the same problem an knows a solution to this.

I tried MyEclipse restart, reboot, reinstall several times – nothing works. My MyEclipse is Build 6.0.1-GA-200710.

    With regards
    Stefan

    Stefan,
Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

Can you edit the text property directly in the source of the file for the time being. I’ll get this issue checked by the dev team.

I just got a feed back from the team. The dev team is trying to fix this issue for the 7.0 release. Sorry you ran into this issue.

    Nipun,
thanks for the feedback. I’ll set the text property in the source for now. Maybe this gets fixed in the 7.0 relase. The requested MyEclipse installation details follow below.

    With regards
    Stefan
