Some of what I do is the processing of tab delimited text files. I can’t see the tabs (or other special characters in Eclipse.) So, where do I post a request for an enhancement to allow the viewing of special characters in the Text editor?
Good question. The proper place for such an enhancement is in Eclipse itself. You can put in an enhancement request to their bug database at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/. But it appears that someone has beaten you to it by opening this request in February: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=31900. To be notified of status changes, you can add yourself to the CC list for the request.
